A review of how to use the mpoints program to earn gift cards on mobile devices

What is mpoints?

Unlike most methods of earning gift cards or payments through paypal on a mobile device, mpoints is not a single app. It is instead a network of apps that you earn points to be added to one account. You earn points across games and other apps for completing achievements in the apps and doing bonus activities like watching videos from advertisers or visiting the we pages of certain advertisers. With several different apps participating in the program, you can really customize your mpoints experience by only participating in the apps you enjoy using.

Advantages to the mpoints program

Mpoints caters to users of all types with a wide variety of apps to earn on. You can choose from fitness apps, apps to download wallpapers for your mobile devices, fun and addicting games, and others. There is no one way to earn on mpoints, so everyone can find what works best for them.

Mpoints carries a wide variety of gift cards and items that users can cash out for. The most popular rewards are the amazon ones which start as low as $1, but there are so many other reward choices. Users can redeem for physical items such as a kindle fire ore cards to several different places like Starbucks, amazon, and lowed to name a few.

The mpoints program works across a variety of platforms. While some apps for earning money are only available on iOS, mpoints does not. Mpoints has apps that can be downloaded on iOS devices, android devices, and even the kindle fire. This gives more people the opportunity to earn.

Drawbacks to mpoints

There is a daily limit of points you can earn. You can earn 1000 points from achievements each day, however the bonus activities don't count towards this limit so there is the potential for earning more. Only 200 points towards your daily limit can come from each app, so if someone wanted to earn the maximum amount of points each day, they would have to have at least 5 mpoints apps downloaded.

There is no paypal option for payouts. While many apps give their users the option to receive payments through paypal, mpoints is strictly for gift cards and items in their rewards stores.

You can only cash out for each card once a week. For example, if I wanted to cash out for a $5 amazon gift card, I would have to wait a full week before cashing out for one again. I could however cash out for another card such as a $1 amazon gift card.

Conclusion

As with any opportunity for earning money or gift cards, mpoints is not for everyone. There are those who will love it and those that will hate it. It's up to each person to determine for themselves whether or not it is the right fit for them, but they will never know until they try it.

Darn! Another great app not available on Windows-based phones (I just checked). One more reason to switch to Android in the ever nearing future!!! Great review -- it got me to immediately check my phone and see if I could do it!

Actually if you want more earning apps, iOS is the way to go. Way more options than android.

MPoints is a scam. They will randomly remove points from your account and do nothing when you tell them about it. They are like a store that charges you several times over for the same item and tells you it is FREE! Seriously, there are few reasons (if any) to take part in this program…unless you want to do other people’s bidding and get nothing in return.
