Well, here Father and Mother and I are in FNB. Father came to upgrade his credit card to platinum so that he can earn "e-bucks" aplenty.

And the bank should welcome that, shouldn't they? They can make lots more money out of Father if he upgrades through a higher credit card monthly fee, higher account fee, and since Father is doing this so he can use his credit card a lot more, lots more vendor fees. The bank wins all the way!

But the experience wasn't one bit positive. FNB's focus is solely and squarely on being as detremental as possible to the client/bank relationship.

We wait a helluval long time in a cue. Then, we are "helped" by this chick who wears a "Trainee" badge.

Hell, I wonder if she just walked in the door and they slapped a "Trainee" badge on her and put her to work without any training, because seriously, she has absolutely no idea what she's doing. She can't do anything whatsoever and just wastes a lot of time until she finally and regularly calls someone else to help her do something.

As time passes and passes and passes and we're still sitting in front of her, she even tells us point blank that she hates it here. She used to work at some lawyer place but then landed up here and she absolutely hates it and doesn't want to be here.

Well at least that's honest, but still, we are trying to upgrade Father's credit cards. Can she do that? Does she have the competence?

She says she can't find any "mandate" on her system for Father's account.
