What are some of the other ways to invest in Gold other than Futures and Options?

Ways to invest in Gold...

Historically if an investor was excited about investing in physical Gold he or she had very few options. You had to know someone who specialized in it or you had to live close to a mint. In doing this one must consider the costs of minting, storage and the security of the physical metal.

Another way of investing may be to look for shares in companies that do well when gold goes up in value.

The following is a list of shares who may do well with the rising price of Gold:

Active Control Technology Inc. (TSX:ACT.V) is involved in the design, manufacture and marketing of both wireless and fiber network solutions for mine communications.

Acclaim Exploration NL (ASX:AEX.AX) engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties in the Republic of South Africa and the United States.

Abcourt Mines (TSX:ABI.V; OTCPK:ABMBF) An exploration and development company with strategically located properties in northwestern Quebec, Canada.

Aberdeen International (OTCPK:AABVF) is a publicly-traded global resource investment and merchant banking company focused on small cap companies in the Resource sector.

Abitex Resources Inc. (TSX:ABE.V) is an exploration company based in Val d'Or, Quebec which is focused on acquiring and advancing uranium properties in Quebec.

ABM Resources Ltd (ASX:ABU.AX) explores for various mineral properties, principally gold, uranium, zinc, lead, and copper in Australia, Mozambique, and Zambia.

Acadian Mining Corporation ( TSX:ADA.TO) is a Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada based company with five advanced gold projects.

A-Cap Resources (ASX:ACB.AX) They engage in the exploration of mineral properties in Australia and Africa.

Abacus Mining & Exploration (TSX:AME.V) An exploration and mine development company.

Abbastar Resources Corp. (TSX:ABA.V) They are an aggressive junior exploration company focused in the world-renowned gold producing region, the Uchi Subprovince of North Western Ontario, Canada.

Last but not least is to find a Gold Exchange Traded Fund. The following are popular Gold ETFs that I have found:
