Do you know what Spam is and not the kind of mystery meat that comes in a can. Spamming is the quickest way to lose your account on Mylot.
What is Spam?
Wikipedia defines Spam as the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. Basically, someone is promoting their product to you without your permisssion. How dare they!
Although the most popular form of Spam is with e-mail, it is now being abused in other areas like instant messaging, search engines, blog comments, classified ads, cell phones, forums, faxes and the biggest area being social networks. Spam is everywhere and it's not going away any time soon.
No Spamming Allowed On Mylot
Anyway, let's discuss Spam as it relates to the Mylot forum. If you don't know anything about the hottest online get paid to forum called Mylot, read my review here.
The very first time you come up with an interesting post on Mylot and there are tons of members responding to your post. Oh boy, that means good earnings and of course a chance to show off your superb writing skills. The discussion is really taking off and along comes this member who responds with a reply that has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion. What the heck just happened? Well this daring post just caught your attention and the other members as well. Your thought provoking discussion just got Spammed. Most of the time, Spam posts are going to be from a new member (less than 50 posts). They obviously did not read the Mylot Discussion Guidelines.
How To Deal With Spammers
Spamming is not allowed on Mylot and it's the quickest way to lose your account. Nowadays Spammers are very clever. They may even throw in a few appropriate words so it appears they are talking about the subject matter.
In my opinion, the best thing to do when this happens is nothing. Spammers want you (and the other members watching) to ask more questions so they can push their products. Don't waste your valuable time with Spammers. If no one responds, they usually go away. If on the other hand, they are rude or persistent in any way, this statement does wonders: Mylot does not tolerate Spammers!

Excellent! I just got off MyLot responding to a young lady's post in "Pets". I didn't see any spam there but some of the comments made about her andd her post were certainly cold, even cruel. I think that is just as bad as spam! If someone doesn't have something kind and constructive to say, they should keep their mouth shuy. Of course that is just my opinion.
Hope that you and yours are having a safe and happy Memorial Day.

I don't see it often (flaming) because mylotters are normally friendly but it does happen. Thanks, you just gave me a great idea for another article. : )
