From my experience I don’t think Britishrewards.co.uk is a reliable paid website. I would not recommend anybody to join the site. For people who are interested in cash back websites I would like to introduce TopCashBack and Maximiles.

Review of Britishrewards.co.uk: A Cash Back Website I Don't Trust

Britishrewards.co.uk is a cash back website and a part of WOW media that was started in 2007 and founded by Matt Lovett.

Sign Up:

It’s easy and free to join, but membership is only available to people who are a British citizen over the age of 18 and limited to one account per household. To sign up you need to visit Britishrewards.co.uk and click a light blue banner “Register now” under the member’s log in item. You ca also use another banner ‘Click here’ at the bottom of the home page. Then you need to enter your email address, your name, your gender, and mailing address, etc. You also need to create a username and a password as well as choose your payment method. Shortly you will receive a confirmation email with your access details.

Make money:

Currently for Britishrewards members there are 4 ways to make money.

1. Paid clicks

You visit 'paid clicks' item on the top left corner and click retailers displayed, then you can get from 1p to 25p per click according the description in next few days, some of them are instant credits. Generally it has more than 20 paid to click retailers.

2. Free stuff and Easy cash

There are two items available for users to get free money: Free stuff and Easy cash. When you sign up websites through the links provided by britishrewards.co.uk you can get some rewards.

3. Cash back from your shopping and save money by using Vouchers

When you shop online you can follow the link via Britishrewards, then you can get percentage of your purchase back after you complete the transactions. In general it takes 28 days to be paid to your account.

You can also use free vouchers codes provided by the company when you shop on some particular retailers.

4. Referral

You can invite your friends to join Britishrewards and get £0.25 per your referral without any extra request.

The Payment:

You have four ways to redeem your earnings: PayPal (no minimum withdrawal), Amazon voucher (£5 payout), Money bookers (£5 payout) and Cheque (£15 payout). Generally it takes 3 or 4 weeks to fulfil all redemption claims.

Personal experience:

In 2009 I had joined 6 cash back websites and Britishrewards was my second least favourite after the notorious scam cash back website Cashbacking.co.uk.

What I like:

The website has a light blue colour that looks professionally. There are not much advertisement displayed and it’s easy for members to find their needed items.
On Britishrewards website there are many paid to click retailers that can provide me more daily easy money. The site is entirely free to use with no annual membership fees and no charges, I particularly like the PayPal option that doesn’t have any minimum payout set.

What I dislike:

First the website speed is unbelievably slow. It’s really frustrating when you have to wait for ages to open a page. Second, the transactions system is very unreliable. I had some of my transactions not being credited after a few months. Last, but not least, the payment system is not reliable either. I have been paid for many times, however it happened twice that I didn’t receive my payment. I had talked with Britishrewards staff members on line but didn’t get any result. At last I have to give up the site.

Conclusion:

From my experience I don’t think Britishrewards.co.uk is a reliable paid website. I would not recommend anybody to join the site. For people who are interested in cash back websites I would like to introduce TopCashBack and Maximiles.
