With Every year there are the must have toys for the holidays. Once in awhile the toy is so popular it becomes the next craze: The Cabbage Patch Doll, Tickle Me Elmo, or Zhu Zhu pets are a perfect example. For 2010 the hottest toys have already hit the shelves. The holiday season is the time of year where most stores count on making the bulk of their revenue, and do their best to stock up on the most popular toys. These are five of the top toys of 2010.

Air Hogs

Air Hogs have a vast selection in price and selection: helicopters, booster rockets or zero gravity cars. These remote control vehicles are fun for many ages. The newest Air Hog toy is the MotoFrenzy. It is supposed to be the world’s smallest remote control motorcycle. It can ride on any terrain, do jumps and sharp turns. This toy retails at $24.99.

Pillow Pets

These cute creatures are both a pillow and a pet. The plush stuffed animal will be a wonderful toy for all ages. These are great for sleepovers or naptime. The pillows come in a variety of animals: a ladybug, a monkey or a bumble bee to name a few. You can purchase these from $15.99 to $24.99.

Nerf Stampede

The Nerf Stampede has: 60 darts and 4 clips. This automatic Nerf Gun comes is mounted on a tripod. It is easy to load the magazine clips for rapid shooting. While other battery operated Nerf Guns get poor reviews, Popular Mechanics gives the Nerf Stampede high marks. This toy retails for $50.00.

SingAMAJig

Named on the Toys-R-Us top ten list of gifts for 2010, these singing plush toys are an adorable gift. A SingAMAJig will chatter in their own language, sing a tune and harmonize with each other. They come in a variety of colors and styles to choose from. The more SingAMAJigs you purchase, the more harmony they create. The retail price of this toy is $13.00.

Lego Hogwarts

The Harry Potter series continues to lead the trends for 2010. Lego Hogwarts is designed with a multitude of characters from J.K. Rowling’s series. The set contains easy to follow directions for children to put together and will be a hit with fans of Legos and Harry Potter. The Lego set is priced at an affordable price of $30.00.
