Three Ways To Make Money With No Extra Effort

Here are three ways to make extra money doing what you already do in your daily life.

Viggle for Music and Watching TV

Viggle is an app for your smartphone or tablet. You can earn points for watching TV, listening to music, taking quizzes, and watching advertisements. You can spend these points on different awards, like gift cards, movies, books, and products.

For every minute you spend checked in for watching TV, you get one point and you get bonuses for certain shows. For every song you check in, you get 100 points. Usually for ads you get 20 points for every one that you watch. How many points you get for the quizzes depends on how many questions you get right.

There is a limit of 12,000 points that you can earn per day. While I've never hit it myself, there are people who say it's not hard at all if you're diligent enough.

It's slow going to get enough points for rewards. Right now i have 26,840 points, which is enough for books, songs, and shows in the rewards store, as well as the sweepstakes, but I have a long way to go for the rewards worth more, like the Ipad Air, which is over 3 million points. However, as long as you remember to check in, the points will add up and you aren't putting in any more effort than you usually are when you check in for TV or a song on the radio.

Radio Loyalty

Radio Loyalty is an app and a website that is free to join and you earn points by listening to one of their radio stations. You get twenty points for every twenty minutes you listen, and you get more points for liking and disliking songs. These points also add up and you can get many different rewards for the points, including Visa gift cards. There is also a referral program so you can earn some points from your friends and family when they sign up and start listening as well.

Just listening will take a long time for you to have enough points. Without referrals or doing the surveys and offers also available on their website, then it could even take almost a year to earn enough for a Visa gift card. But if you listen to music a lot (or don't mind having your volume on silent while having the app play in the background) the points will add up eventually. I would not recommend doing the surveys and free offers, because they can be pretty time consuming and you might end up not getting the points anyway. In my opinion, no surveys are worth their reward. It's better to write articles on revenue-sharing sites than take the time to do a survey only to get disqualified after you've put in a half hour of work.

Receipt Hog

This one has actually been the most lucrative for me out of the three. I've had the app on my phone and I've gotten ninety dollars from it. However, I must confess, I got very, very lucky.

The way Receipt Hog works is you scan the receipts you get into your phone. The receipts must be less than two weeks old and there is a limit for the amount of receipts you can scan per month. The amount of points you get depends on how much money you spent for the receipt. You also get spins for the app's slot machine, which will get you additional points. You get spins for completing challenges and leveling up in Receipt Hog. This is where I got lucky.

One of the slot combinations is called Last Grocery Trip. It's the highest amount of points you can get on the slot machine and after spending my spins for leveling up, I won it. This made up the majority of the points I ended up spending when I cashed out and got ninety dollars deposited in my Paypal account.

But if you are diligent with scanning your receipts, then the points from them and the free spins still add up, especially during the holidays, when you'll be spending a lot of money. If you're going to spend the money anyway, why not get a little bit of it back?

Great ideas I like the receipt hog, it sounds like fun. I do not have an iphone or tablet so, I can not do any of them.

I'm sorry you can't do receipt hog or Viggle. I'm not sure if there are any online alternatives you can do with the computer. However, you can still use radio loyalty. It's more of a website online then an app even though they have it in app form.

That is true. It can be difficult to get in the habit of using these three sources, but I think it's worth the rewards.

Mary Papas, I'm glad! I hope they work out for you.

Tvfanatic, I'm sorry. I didn't realize they were just for Americans.
